I ordered this for making a low seating in my living room and possibly as a spare mattress topper for guests. However it came packaged in a cheap box that was already ripped. Thankfully the topper was not damaged so I decided to use it. It is very very thin and is basically a sheet of sponge. We have it in a three fold as a seat for 2 and it works alright. But even with 3 folds you can feel the floor. Also it is not foam. But I am guessing for the price you cant expect more. Since it works mostly for my seating needs I am giving it 4 stars. But if I had bought this as a topper I would have returned it.

Most foam panels I found were in upwards of $50 for sets of 6-12 squares of like eggcrate. Figured for $14 this was worth the risk and it absolutely was. I was able to cut out the pieces I needed with scissors or my curved Xacto knife with ease. Adheres well with hotglue.. Its rigid under compression which is perfect for collared pieces that fit all the way around a limb, it will hold its place. It doesnt make me sweat or trap much heat where it makes contact. With how easily it formed and glued you can use this under everything as a base layer for shaping. Hotglue and spray adhesive also works well if you need to glue on layers.

My husband and I purchased this topper for our super firm mattress and are so glad we did! We wanted to avoid the expense of a brand new mattress given the one we have is still in great shape, just too firm. Before we were waking up sore and with back pain, but this topper has saved us! It has just enough give to make our rest more comfortable and we wake feeling more rested (which is saying a LOT, especially with a 7 month old!) It does have a cover that can be zipped off to be laundered, but I found that our mattress pad cover still fits even with this on so I’ve opted to use that for easier removal since I wash the cover regularly due to allergies and didn’t wish to wrestle with getting the slip on/off.
