   To be upfront, I didn’t give this 5 stars because it’s the best quality or most comfortable, but because it’s hard to find a protector for a deep mattress and topper…that actually stays in place! Most 22″ deep pocket protectors have elastic which not only runs horizontal but also vertical, which pulls it upward and off your bed. This has a solid fabric side and it actually gets underneath my bed ( I’ve tried several other 22″ deep which may reach but as soon as you touched the bed it would slide up, this does include a beautyrest that was $100) with great elastic all the way around to secure it underneath the mattress. I’m the type of person that will toss and turn ALL throughout the night, but still no movement. As for the quality, it again has solid fabric sides (as in being like your average sheet, where others tend to have all sorts of elastic which are supposed to help to get it in place), the top is not the softest (but doesn’t seem to matter when the sheet is placed on top), but the waterproof barrier tends to be more like the old plastic sheets. It doesn’t make as much noise, and even less with sheets on top, but it is more noticeable than the higher quality covers that feel exactly like sheets. The quality seems to be average, and I question how many washes it will get through before falling apart, as the sides seem to be quite sheer with very thin threads. The top seems to try to be like a terry cloth, but it feels less substantial, again with very thin fabric. Only time will tell and I’ll do an update after a few more washes. With all that said, currently I’d buy again, as a deep protector pad that covers, protects and stays in place….That was everything I needed!

   We recently purchased a very expensive mattress due to back issues and obviously wanted to protect our investment. We have used mattress protectors in the past and they do the trick but are either, noisy or too expensive, forcing you to buy the noisy, not so sturdy option.I started searching Amazon and to my surprise, I found this cover and the price was just right! The cover arrived very quickly and packaged in a zipper case.This cover is great!. it makes no noise when you move and will not make you bed hot which is a huge plus considering how hot summers can be in the southeast. It will not change the texture of your bed by adding unnecessary plush to the top like other covers do, defeating the purpose of purchasing a quality mattress. It fitted my king size bed and not once has it came off or needed to be readjusted. But the questions is… Does it protect the bed? The answer is absolutely YES IT DOES!. My wife was having breakfast in bed which included grape juice when our pup decided to jump on the bed, spilling the whole glass of grape juice on our brand new mattress. After removing the now ruined white sheets and to our surprise, our mattress was clean and dry even when the juice soaked all the way to the mattress cover.Washing the cover is a breeze and does not change the softness of the cover nor the properties of the protective top layer. The stain came right off and the whole thing was like it never happened (minus a ruined white sheet, LOL)I truly recommend this cover and do not allow the low price keep you from buying. Sometimes affordable, well made gems like these come up and this IS a rare find.This review is based on my product experience and is provided without request or requirement of any third party.
