This is the simplest, most obvious, most effective way to move a mattress I’ve ever used. This carrier fit my California king (the long way!) and allowed us to carry it through low, narrow stairs/hallways/doorways in a 100+ year old building to the second floor.Throughout the process, the mattress was wrapped in a plastic protector bag – which foiled every previous technique and moving gadget we’d tried because the bag was so slippery. With this carrier, we just hauled it like a big bag of groceries. The carrier, itself, provided additional protection when tugging the mattress up a dirty old back staircase. The carrier fabric was intact and just needed a wash in the washing machine when we were done.I’d read reviews about the straps / handles being weak, but it looks like the manufacturer has redesigned them since those reviews were posted. The item I received had sturdy, nylon straps that went all the way underneath the carrier and were sewn on with multiple rows / angles of strong stitching. Even with our brutal manhandling of the straps while trying to un-wedge the mattress from a narrow passage at one point, the straps and carrier body held fast with no hint of fabric or stitches ripping.This is a high-quality product with a simple, effective design. I was one day away from fashioning a DIY version of this thing from a tarp and tie-down straps from my truck before one last Hail Mary visit to Amazon revealed this item in a search. Thank you to US Cargo Control for making this, and for Amazon for getting it to my door on short notice before my move.Recommend without reservation!
