Building this bed was a breeze! My wife did most of it by herself and it only required 2 people really for a few steps.The finished product is very sturdy! The circular cross beams that make up the base the mattresses will sit on have a little wiggle room, but only on the ends farthest away from any anchoring screws. Once a mattress is on though they will sit tight. We are very impressed! It is also very quiet. Other metal sets that I have seen tend to make a lot of noise when kids are climbing up and down, but this one doesn’t at all.Overall I would recommend this bed for your kids. It’s great value for the money.

First, let me say how easy this bunk bed was to put together, it only took my hsuband and I about 1 hour to assemble. As long as you follow the directions, you shouldn’t have any problems. We chose the white coated bunk, we noticed that the poweredcoat holds up well when the metal scratched it lightly while assembling, we couldn’t tell where they contacted with each other. We are very pleased it has a support bar in the middle of the bed to help give extra strength and prevent the poles from sagging. A little bonus center support leg is on the bottom bunk to help, which I haven’t seen on any other bunk beds. Oh, I do want to mention, that when installing the poles, start at one end, lightly fasten the 2 screws, then insert one pole at a time in the bar while pushing the opposite end towards the other pole until you reach other end then tighten down the screws. It makes it easier to install the poles. Another plus about this bunk bed is each end of the pole comes with a rubber cap already installed on them and a thin strip of insulation tap for center support bars to help prevent metal clanking and rubbing sounds. Before, installing the poles over the center support bar, install the thin tape then install the poles over it. Also comes with extra hardware incase you lose a screw or two and a more stready t-bar allen wrench for ease and less headache as well as a standard allen. Upon delivery, you do need either a strong man or two person team because it does weigh about 100lbs in the box. This is a low profile bunk bed which is prefect if there is a ceiling fan in the room and don’t have to worry about it taking someone’s head off while on top bunk and great for children. Overall, this is a good quality bunk bed that I would recommend to any parent looking for one for their child/ children.

Bought for my 5 and 7 year old. I was able to set up by myself in around 1.5 hrs. Pretty sturdy and I really like that the ladder is angled. Gaps along the corner of the top bunk makes changing sheets much easier than other bunk beds I’ve tried.Gave 4 starts because one of the holes that secures part of the railing was incorrectly welded. But it didn’t compromise the integrity of the railing.

My son has always wanted a bunk bed, so I ordered this one for him, although it did require a new mattress since the bottom bunk is full size with a twin on the top.The box was crazy heavy, but things seemed to be packed well and there was no damage to any of the parts in shipping. It included all the hardware plus some extra bolts, which was much appreciated. Two hex keys were included, so no additional tools were necessary to assemble. The finish is just matte black, which my son liked.My only complaint would be that there were a few small sharp spots of solder where the top bunk was welded together, which I removed with a small file. I would probably take a half star off for that, but that’s not an option, and it seems pretty good otherwise. The instructions were very good, although they did not mention the included washers, but that’s pretty straightforward for most people to understand what to do with them.Overall, it seems to be fairly sturdy, and my son has been greatly enjoying his new bed so far!
