I decided to surprise my mom with a mattress topper, and while I was at it, I thought I might treat myself to one too! Even though my mattress isn’t new by any means, I’m not quite ready to invest in a brand new one just yet. I need it to be supportive but also to cradle my body—otherwise, I tend to wake up feeling achy. I’ve noticed that the pillow top usually seems to be the first thing to go on a mattress.Setting up the topper was super simple! It only took a couple of hours to fully “inflate,” so I was able to enjoy it the very same night it arrived. It fastens securely with straps on each corner, and it stays put perfectly. I was surprised by how much extra height it added to my bed, so keep in mind that you might need deeper fitted sheets. Since I’ve started using it, I’m definitely sleeping better and waking up with way less back pain!

Fits perfectly on our mattress, which was only 5 inch thick. The additional pad was an improvement to our thin one. It’s firm, but still supportive. It was an easy way to thicken up and renew.
