   I’m writing to help everyone else out. I bought two of these (white loft with stairs and desk) and built them back to back…here’s what I learned:1. These are not $1K loft beds, they are affordable and seem good quality for the price.2. “Solid wood” is more like particle board, but again still sturdy to hold 300lbs. Also, some cosmetic defects present when taking it out of packaging (see pics).3. The dimensions are accurate, but some of the pre-drilled holes do not line up 100%, especially with the top of the desk. Prepare to adjust accordingly. Also, pay close attention to the location of every hole in the directions pictures for accurate assembly.4. When drilling in screws, be careful to not over-drill or it will fracture the wood. (See pics)5. When building the stairs, that’s the worse part…I found the easiest way was to attach the very back piece (piece “W”) to the bottom foundation after built (the T/T1 set) FIRST, then build up from there…you’re welcome.6. At the end, when screwing in the “O” slats, which is the support for the mattress, a 3″ spacing apart will be almost perfect. Again, you’re welcome.Overall, these seem worth the buy and with a second person, it can be built in a couple hours. I don’t particularly like how all the screws are visible, but the kids don’t care and as I said these are not $1K beds. I would purchase again if needed. 3 stars for an “Average” rating.Update: since it’s been a minute now with regular use, I wanted to provide a small update. The girls love these beds and have had no issues with wobbling or the structural integrity. The only issue we’ve come across is the screws that hold the staircase magnets are too short so that piece has come off a couple times on both units. We replaced the screws with slightly longer ones and now it stays fine. Overall, definitely worth the buy and I would still recommend as an affordable option for a loft bed. Updating my rating to a 4 star simply because you are getting the best bang for your buck, even with some cosmetic issues.

   I love everything about the bunkbed. It gives me so much more space in my tiny room, with a little bit of storage in the stairs. Only down side are the doors to the drawer. They drop down a little too easy when waking up. But I just put them sideways and I like the look

   We got this bed to upgrade my son’s room and he loved it. It’s a great way to be able to utilize all the floor space. For us since he’s still little and doesn’t really need the skinny desk we left it without for now and down below is his play area. Took a couple hours to assemble but it’s understandable. Instructions were easy to understand all hardware was included
