Getting into cold sheets in the winter can be chilling. The heated pad takes the chill off fast making it very pleasant to climb into bed.Learn your setting, the comfort setting defaults HI 3 and turns off after a period of time. I personally found this to be way to warm and use the low 3 setting. My wife turns her side on before going to bed to take the chill off and turns it off when going to bed. What ever you choose you’ll never experience cold sheets again

Edit: Ok, maybe I was in a bad mood because I was cold 😉 I’ll try to be more informative this round.Tldr: It’ll do for 60 bucks. This pad isn’t even all that bad, honestly. It heats evenly, even in the middle “dual zone buffer” area. It also doesn’t get super hot, just enough for the bed to be nice and toasty once you get in it, which I find preferable to being cooked alive.10 settings,1-8 with a L and a H setting. There is a timer for auto shutoff. The controls are lighted and not that hard to understand if you’re not the type to read manuals. You do feel the wires, but that doesn’t bother me. A thin blanket on top of the pad and under a sheet will fix that easily. The topper also has a thick, felt-like feel, which is interesting (in a good way). It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all.The connectors are still stupidly placed on the sleeping surface and I still hate that a queen can’t have the option to be single or dual control. There is a model that does that, and I was thisclose to returning this one and getting that one (still am). I did discover that if I put the pad on upside down so the connectors were on the head side of the mattress, they aren’t in danger of being kicked and they’re far up and away enough that my back pillows cover it without me touching them. The cord now also reaches the plugs in this config. Problem solved, I guess.I get a little bit less heat towards the bottom of the pad with it being placed upside down since the wires do not cover the full surface (because why on Earth would they need to do that? Ugh.. -_-). I am 5’7 and my feet are heated, but I can feel where it ends if I stretch. If you’re taller, reconsider this one.I admit I am nitpicking this a bit. It’s easily worth the ~60 bucks I paid for it. I should’ve just done more research and paid more for all of the features I wanted. And I’m too cold to take it back now and wait for a new one (maybe…).I’ll give it back a star, but it’s really a 3.5. It honestly might end up being for the guest in a few weeks.Original review:Why is this even dual zoned in the first place? And if it is, make sure the cords are long enough to reach the plug thats on the other side of the room. The connectors are on the top of the mattress, which is stupid, why would you put the connectors somewhere they can be kicked? It does seem to heat evenly and quickly. Haven’t decided if I want to deal with its shortcomings yet.

Me and my husband both love this for those nice and cold days, where we need extra warmth. There are two controls for both sides of the bed, but there are two plugs for each control. It does shut off with a timer, and it fits well, even with a memory foam top on it. You can feel the heating element at first, but it soon becomes unnoticeable. It works as intended but I find at 5, it can get too hot after a while.

I am always cold. Over the years, I have had a number of electric mattress pads. This Sealy brand is far and away the best I’ve ever had. There are 2 controls, one for each side of the bed. The controls have separate buttons for heat and time. The controls are extremely logical (unlike other brands) There is also a pre-heat function that is is fantastic. Auto-shutoff after 10 hours or so. The only thing I don’t like is that the plugs from cord to pad are on the top of the mattress pad on each side. It would be more comfortable for the sleeper if the plugs were at the foot of the bed, out of the way of our feet. This is not a deal breaker, however, since everything else about this item is outstanding.

Love love LOVE this product. We live in MI where it snows for what seems like an eternity and my bedroom is the farthest from the furnace. My room gets some heat but not enough to matter when its below 0 outside. I would often times wake up at night freezing and turning my heating pad back on (yes I know you’re not supposed to sleep with it on blah blah blah) thanks to my Anemia and Raynauds. I would turn my heating pad on, set it to 150 degrees and set the timer for 90 min, which is as high as it would go. Bought this heated mattress pad hoping it would help a little bit with that and let me tell you. This thing is perfect. I am able to set my side for the depths of hell for heat and my partner is able to keep the other side of the bed cool. I keep mine at high and set the timer for 9 hours even though I know I will only manage about 5 hours of sleep before work. I manage to actually sleep through the night and haven’t had to turn my heating pad on since we turned this bad boy on. Highly recommend for anyone that gets chilly at night as you can choose the heat setting as well as how long you want it to heat for.
