This is an all day assembly for one person, and the directions are 95% ez to read and follow. Product came in 2 boxes and they are heavy boxes. If you cant lift a 100#, then dont attempt to lift these boxes on your own. The precut / predrilled pieces were PERFECTLY done. A lot of parts…a lot…the bags of parts were labeled perfectly. Easy to read. I would make sure you have a 10×10 space available to lay out all the pieces. I would also have a battery operated drill / battery operated screw driver to put all the screws in. I turned my drill down to level 6 and it worked great for quickly putting the screws in but not stripping them out. The rollers for the sections that pull out roll very smoothly on our tile floor. I would say this is a 6.5 out of 10 for difficulty in assembly. If you are used to DIY assembly of furniture, you wont have have any problems, but I would not attempt building this as my first DIY piece of furniture. The metal slides for the pull out sections need to be taken apart and used for different inside and outside components and the directions arent really clear about this.You’ll figure this out soon enough when you run out of parts. ( I scratched my head a bit and then went AH Ha! that is what that picture meant) Overall, totally impressed with it. Bigger than I expected, but will work exactly as I purchased it for. I believe it will last along time. I will update the more it is used. Also it does not come with a mattress, you will have to purchase a trifold, Japanese, or air mattress for it.

Took my 2 teenage daughter 2 days to put it together does not come with worded instructions only photos. Comes with an Allen wrench and a screwdriver but it’s best to have a drill with an Allen bit. Extremely heavy to move once it’s installed so install it in the room you want it in first.

We ordered this Murphy bed system for our guest room. We ordered a 6 inch folding mattress (separately), and it fits in there perfectly. My friend slept on it a week and said it was comfortable.I gave it a 4/5 stars because, it did take my husband a long time to put it together. When he was attaching the metal sliders, one bent and one broke. We had to run to the hardware store and buy some heavy duty versions.
