   What a great dust ruffle! I have a bunk bed set up in my daughters’ room and had been struggling to find a dust ruffle that would work. This easy, elastic banded ruffle is the perfect solution because unlike traditional dust ruffles that have the fabric panel to fit under the whole mattress, this wraparound style made installation a snap. (Anyone that has ever tried to even just make the bed on a bunk bed knows how difficult that can be – the idea of trying to install a traditional dust ruffle made me cringe). The color is vibrant, the fabric drapes nicely and looks very good. Out of the package, it’s quite wrinkly (expected that), so I used a low iron. Do not use high heat – the fabric will become damaged! It stays put even with my girls and their playing around. I ended up ordering a second one for the top bunk now that I know the first one worked out so well – it’ll hide the bars under the top bunk and look really pretty. All the stuff under the bed is well-hidden and it gives a coordinated, finished look. Bunk bed tip: in order to get the ruffle to hang properly around the ladder joints and corners, I simply used scissors to cut a vertical slice in two places to allow for the ability to arrange it around the ladder and frame. It hasn’t frayed even after washing and re-ironing – so that was a win. Lays flat around the bunk bed frame – very nice, looks perfect. You can’t beat the price, either. It would’ve taken me forever to try to find this in stores around town, and even then, I doubt I would’ve found the ideal color for their current room decor.

   This wrap around bedskirt is wonderful! My box spring is worse than bare, it has an old ugly striped bottom sheet on it that I have despised, but I was not able to remove it, and then I’d be left with the bare boxspring fabric anyway. When I thought of a bedskirt, I only saw the kind that are attached to a sheet that goes under the mattress. Then I recalled decades ago having one that was elastic, and with the right search strings found what I was looking for. I looked at many, read reviews, and finally settled on this one, even though there were cheaper ones available. I am very pleased with this choice. The fabric is very soft, and drapes nicely. It arrives rather wrinkled, and more ambitious folks might iron it first. I didn’t and most wrinkles have hung out.The color is a very deep eggplant. I used a flash on the photo so it looks lighter. The photo shows fit, but the color is not accurate — again, it is a deep eggplant (which I love).The bedskirt was very easy for me to put on by myself, taking maybe ten minutes to do so. It fits my queen bed perfectly, with plenty of stretch left. Because my bed is on the floor (no frame) it’s a bit long, but I put the upper elastic on the mattress over the sheets and under the comforter, and the lower elastic on the top of the boxspring. This way it doesn’t creep under the mattress, and when I make the bed, I just lower the elastic at the corners then pull it back up. Works perfectly.
