I love my twin bunkie boards! I purchased the twin size and they covered my platform bed completely. I placed the shelf liner side(the part that keeps the covered boards in place) against the bed poles/slats, and they stayed secure. Placed my twin mattress on top and no more sagging? or squeaking! But I do need to mention that I did tighten the screws to my faux cast iron bed before placing the boards. There are three boards folded and wrapped in a waterproof material for the top, middle and bottom of the bed. Just unfold and place. I am very happy with my purchase.

Because of limited storage space in my bedroom, I got a bed frame that would allow storage boxes beneath. The problem was, my mattress and box spring combo then became way too high. After researching several options, I purchased this bunkie board, and found that it was just as comfortable as the old box spring. NOTE: my new bed frame had wooden slats (not just “open air” inside a square), and I placed the bunkie board so that its slats are perpendicular to the bed frame slats. Two problems solved with one purchase: the bed is now a normal height, and the mattress sits comfortably on the bunkie board to give me a good night’s sleep. This is an awesome product: you just open its box, unfold the 2 boards, and place them on the bed frame and then put your mattress on top; it’s so easy to assemble, and there has been no sliding around. Excellent value; I believe it’s better (& worth the extra price for a good night’s sleep) than the cheaper models my friends have.
