We bought this to put on our existing king size bed. Our bed is very firm and we are getting to an age where when we get up in the morning we can feel it. We need the support, but need a layer of cushion. This completely provides the comfort we were looking for and because it is only 2″ the firmness underneath of our mattress is not muted.We are sleeping longer and awakening feeling more refreshed. It is a high quality foam. We do not like “memory” foam due to the occasional feeling of being trapped in the mattress. You don’t get that here.Highly recommended!

After finally breaking down and spending $350 for a mattress topper since my new mattress caused me dreadful pain, I can honestly say this topper has made a world of difference. Prior to installing the topper, my shoulders and hips hurts all the time. Now I wake up with very little pain. I cannot speak to whether the topper is good for cooling; since that was never an issue for me.
