I was not too sure about ordering this matress topper but glad that I decided to give it a try. I’ve been using a Posturpedic topper for years (don’t think they even make them anymore) and loved how I always got a good night’s sleep and my back felt great in the morning. But it was time for a new topper since the other one was quite old. This Isolus gel foam mattress is much better than I expected and for the last two nights, since receiving it, I slept like a baby for over 8 hours without waking once and a big plus is that my back feels great! I really am surprised that this topper works as well as it does since it’s very reasonably priced. No sweating overnight either ~ I am “that age” where I sleep with a fan on at night even if it’s 20 degrees outside! Love it.

The pad is good compared with others that I had. Is not too soft not too hard, just right. Yes, it does make you hot if you sleep on one spot for hours, but if you roll on a different spot is cool. It will help to have summer sheets like sateen, silk, anything that is cold to the touch. But defenitely helped my shoulder pain and my lower back pain.

This is an excellent product and much to my surprise, as I have previously purchased gel memory foam (although not this brand) with less than favorable results. I wanted a mattress that would not be firm, but still provide a measure of stability. It is very comfortable, especially with my back surgery, and gives a good night’s sleep. There was no initial odor and it soon ventilated, within an hour, to my mattress size and shape. I bought the twin XL and I would recommend going for that size, rather than a regular large. This gives extra room. There is some heat from the memory foam but it is not uncomfortable. Thus far, I am very pleased with the ISOLUS.
