I used this bedbug proof mattress cover on a recent mission trip to Haiti. While the mission we stay at does their best to keep all sorts of pests at bay, with the many people who stay there, bedbugs can sometimes be a problem. I’m happy to report that I survived my stay totally bedbug free! 🙂 The mattresses are very thin at the mission but thankfully the mattress cover was very generous in size. I was able to put two mattresses in it which provided a much more comfortable sleep. The price was right, too. My fellow missionaries had paid twice as much for their covers and they were not nearly as nice or soft. Because of the economical cost, I left the pad there for the next travelers who were coming in. Thanks so much for a bug free experience!

It will definitely keep the bed bugs out of your mattress and cut down on how much you see them nasty little things. Although the mattress is not the only place they hide so the bugs want totally go away. I’ve had mine for about 4 months and it’s starting to look a bit worn out so I’m not sure how much longer it will protect my mattress from invasion. I’m not going to wait and find out. I’ll just buy a new one soon. They’re not expensive and replacing it seems like the hygienic thing to do anyways.

Looks well made and large enough to fit any mattress thickness on any twin bed and is very reasonably priced. We bought these before and were satisfied that they are doing the job of securely encasing the mattress.

Purchased as part of a “Beat The Bed Bugs” Epic Battle, theBed Bug Blockade Mattress Cover – TwinAre A Hit~!~ Apparently Function as promised in the Battle Of The Bed Bugs as our battle appears to be Won. I used Food Grade DE (Diatomaceous Earth), Green Easy & Bombed* every 2 – 3 Weeks over a 3 month Period and have had No further Evidence of Bed Bugs. My Sister & I both have terrible reactions of Serious Itching from the bites which generally appear in three linear small red spots. Tortuous for anyone who is allergic as we are, yet apparently unnoticed by others, I cannot say how pleased I am with this product in completing the process of protection from Bed Bug Invasion.To Anyone with a Bed Bug Problem I Highly Recommend This Product As A Crucial Step in the Process. When I mentioned how Tortuous the Invasion of Bed Bugs has been I am Completely Serious. While the Bugs Live off Your Blood and apparently cause Nothing but small Bites; not being carriers of disease, the bites themselves can be Terrible for some such as my Sis & I. We probably bought & Used a Case of Cala-Clear Gel and I even had to get a Prescription for Hydroxyzine HCL to fight the itching. Sister had sores from scratching and frankly the ordeal almost drove me mad. I believe it is essential to Cover all Mattresses & Box Springs as well as Futons in order to be successful in combatting these Monsters.
