We looked around at our local stores and they wanted astronomical prices for a bed of this configuration. We opted to purchase this one and have zero regrets. Was easy to put together and you do need two people to complete a couple of steps. Overall the bed is extremely sturdy and has held up well over the last year. Had one panel that was damaged in shipping and the company quickly dispatched a replacement.The lower bunk easily supports the weight of an adult and is quite comfortable with the right mattress.
