This mattress pad takes comfort to a new level… It indeed, is better than a heated blanket… Set the control a few minutes before bed-time, and slide into an envelope of warmth! Found no problems with control or over-all construction; good fit, and plenty of cord length… A fine example of “MADE IN AMERICA” product… Recommend to anyone living north ofMason-Dixon line !!!Today 12/14/2017 marks 4yrs.since purchase of this electric pad. After continued regular use during that time,it still performs flawlessly….

I’ve been using the Electrowarmth heated mattress pad for about a month. It is the full-size (for double bed) with one control. It works fine and was easy to set up. I called Electrowarmth to ask if I should put my existing mattress pad (not heated) over the Electrowarmth before putting the fitted bottom sheet on the bed. The answer was yes–because it would keep the heated mattress pad cleaner longer. The less often the user has to wash it, the longer the heated pad will last. My call was answered promptly by an employee in Electrowarmth’s facility in Ohio. I appreciated being able to speak with someone who was a fluent English speaker. Before ordering the Electrowarmth product, I had debated about ordering a cheaper heated mattress pad from another company. The very positive reviews on Amazon convinced me to go with the Electrowarmth, as did the information on the Electrowarmth website [..]. The Electrowarmth pad cost about $130 on Amazon. I live in Minnesota, and decided if any one needs a top-of-the line heated mattress pad, it is the chilly residents of our state. It is early in our winter season. I will add more information at the end of the season (about April-May 2017–we have LONG, COLD winters here.

The bed warmer part is very nice. Liked older models better because of the controls, which IMO are not as user friendly as older styles in the past (alas, when I didn’t need glasses they were much easier!). The present digital readout is dim, small, and hard to read, and the touchpads can be confusing when you are half asleep and trying to adjust them. I often accidentally press the wrong touchpad, making the thing warmer when actually trying to turn it down a bit. I have always liked these mattress warmers but would suggest to the company to maybe rethink the design of their controls.
