- PRACTICAL WALL BED: Murphy bed’s dual piston mechanism allows the bed to fold up and down smoothly in seconds without heavy lifting. The EuroSlat mattress support system increases the sleeper’s comfort and accommodates most standard Full size mattresses (8-10” thick, 60 to 90 lb, 54” X 75”). Wall bed is easy to use; simply pull on the handles and flip the support leg down onto the floor.
- IDEAL FOR SMALL SPACES: Transform any room in seconds with a space-saving wall bed. Small space living becomes easy when you can fold your bed away into a cabinet during the day. When planning your space, assign a clearance of 30” to 36” around the open bed to make getting in and out of bed easier.
- QUALITY MATERIALS: North American made with local and imported parts. Made from commercial-grade particle board with an attractive laminate finish. Made in compliance with TSCA Title VI. Maximum weight supported is 1000 lb (including mattress). Minimum height of anchoring wall is 85.8”. When opened, the bed extends 87.3” from the wall. Not compatible with futons. Box spring not required.
- INSTALLATION AND NOTES: For installation and to avoid risk of injury, use only a professional or qualified person with knowledge of the wall structure, studs, and components. Bed may be attached to wood studs, metal studs, or masonry wall structures; masonry requires use of concrete screws (not provided). Assembly is required (3 people recommended). Overall design is very nice and sturdy. I had to study my lath and plaster walls to get a good faster system, It has studs but hard to find them. It all goes well if directions are studied, parts are divided into muffin pans, and parts are laid out before assembly. When attaching cross pieces to the uprights, you do need a helper. Assemble so that the face is on the floor, when lifted by the top, the back is against wall. The drawings are clear but not oriented correctly. I found it easier to notch the bottom of the uprights, rather than cut my floor moulding. It took me all of three days to assemble the bed. It was exactly what I wanted for my company. I have several pictures, having trouble uploading them.

Bed wasn’t the easiest to put together but well worth the effort. Instructions were fairly clear, all the parts were there and the holes in the right place. It looks really good, pulls down and folds up easily. And it’s comfortable! Oh and it was delivered a week earlier than anticipated!!

The Murphy bed is super cool and. GREAT space saver. I normally only have overnight guests in that room during the holidays. So, this bed is really effective in making effective use of the room during most days of the year. Yes, I know I will have to move the workout bench forward to use the treadmill and move the treadmill and elliptical forward to let the bed down for guests but still… Now I really have no excuse for not working out. I only have to walk DOWN a single flight of stairs. ?

Omg!!! I love this bed!!! I read so many nightmare post about putting this bed together. My experience was totally opposite. The bed came early than I was told which was great. It’s very heavy (300bls) but packaged well 3 separate boxes. Its was deliver by an 18 wheeler truck from some kind of freight company probably to handle this kind of load. They will only deliver to your driveway , I think it’s extra to bring inside but this is all told in the description when you purchase this bed. The instructions were very specific all parts were accounted for, no items were damaged. It took 3 people to assemble in about 3 hours time. You’ll need a drill, hammer, a phillips screwdriver and circular saw because you have to remove the base boards so that the bed case can be flush with the wall. Actually we didn’t totally remove mine we just cut two 1’to 1 1/2 pieces out of the base board on both sides. That’s to enable the bed case to be mounted to the wall. Please please this bed can only hold a mattress 8 to 10inch deep. I purchased a 12inch memory foam mattress and the bed case will not close as it should. This bed is a great space saver for my she shed and I highly recommend it.

The bed frame is very nice. Looks great, sturdy, I had to have someone else assemble it because parts were too heavy for me to deal with by myself. It really is a two person job for some. Delivery was fast, appointment was set up in a timely manner. BUT, I was asked to give my phone number to the delivery company because they were required to contact me through Amazon, which they said was difficult. I didn’t think this would be a problem, so I gave them my number for ease of delivery. Now, I’m being slammed with spam text messages. So . . . . very nice bed, but don’t give the delivery company your phone number.
