   I bought this bunk bed for the grand babies to have a nice place to sleep when they come to visit. Super sturdy bed and looks really good in the space. It is large but no larger than the space a Queen size bed takes up. Accommodates 4 people comfortably. The step/drawer space gives them plenty of room to store their clothes while they are here.Pretty simple to put together but does take a bit of time. I’m a 53 year old grandma and put mine together by myself but it took about 24 hours. Of course you will need one other person to help lift the top bunk onto the bottom bed frame.Boxes are marked so you know which ones the directions and hardware are in. I used 9″ hybrid mattresses and I would not recommend going higher than that or the trundle bed will not fit underneath the full size bed. Totally pleased with the way it looks and sleeps.

   We got this for our daughter’s room and it looks great. Made of solid wood, this bunk bed came in 6 boxes and quite heavy. The instruction were pretty easy to follow but took a while to built since I have to do it all by myself, if you have two people, it should go a lot faster. I like that all the parts are labels and all the screws and nails are also labeled. There were a part of the drawer that came broken, but an email to them was replied promptly and the replacement part was received within 4 days. Just a fyi, in step number 9, make sure you note the orientation of the center support holes in the upper cross bars in the upper bunk bed, so that they all face the outside of the bed for the center support bar to be attached. When I did it, one was facing inside and the other faced outside, so I had to create my own screw hole to attach the center support bar. You should also put furniture pads on the support legs before the bed is finish if you need to move it later.My daughter loves her new bed and the steps to the upper bunk is so much easier to climb than a ladder. Even though she can’t use the upper bunk yet until she is 6, she loves playing on it while under our supervision. We love how much storage this bunk bed has, beside the 4 drawers in the stairway, there are also 3 slots on the side for more storage space.

   This bunk bed is a beast! All true wood, easy directions with appropriately marked parts, and super sturdy. It took us two days to put together – day one we got both of the bunks stacked, and day two was the staircase with the drawers.This bunk is incredibly heavy so I would recommend assembly in its final resting place. It was a bit hard to attach the staircase since it was up against the wall. I also recommend screwing in all the slats as per directions because they WILL move with the mattress.It feels that the bunks have extra room from the standard mattresses. The bottom full mattress has extra room and the top twin looks like it could take the Twin LX mattress.Our bunk came with a trundle but we did not put that together since we don’t need it, so I can’t speak to that portion of the bunk bed.Overall, absolutely worth the money in terms of value. We will just have to wait and see if the staircase/drawers were really worth the extra hassle. Today our two toddlers store their treasure toys in the drawers and have no problem going up and down. Added bonus is that each step has an anti slip strip already attached.If you found this useful, please mark the review.
