The media could not be loaded.I like this product. I saw it on Amazon, and it had only a couple ratings, but they spoke highly of it. I was looking for something to put in my office that could be used for occasional seating for myself, but also as a sleeping surface for guests. Since I have family members with children, I really liked the trundle.This thing was packaged really nice. Even if someone dropped it off a truck, I am confident that the padding that they had around the surfaces would have kept it from getting damaged.Assembly wasn’t too bad the Allen wrench that they had with the kit just didn’t seem to fit into the hex head bolts very easily. I found the installation to be very easy with a hex head socket screwdriver.The back and front rail attached with a bracket to both the front and the back of each side. This was easy for me to do by myself, using a chair to hold up the back, I attached the sides. The slats were easy to put on, and the trundle is very easy to assemble.On the trundle, one of the holes of the cross piece that attaches to the slats was drilled deep, align for the screw to go through to the other side. I was able just to reposition the screw by about a centimeter and a half, without compromising integrity. This is an easy fix. There were a couple small scratches that seemed to be prior to packing. Honestly, they were super small, but on visible areas. I did request a replacement part from Amazon and the manufacturer, and it was not available. Because of this, the vendor was great, and offered me either a no cost return, or a more than generous Credit back on the item. With a tiny amount of wood filler, and some white paint, you would never even know at this point.Plus, it’s really cute. As you can see from the video, it is pretty easy to slide out with one hand. Once you push in on one side, you do have to push it on the other side to get it to close evenly, but if you push from the center, that’s not an issue.It’s rated to legit adults that was part of the reason why I liked this purchase. We will see how it holds up overtime. I purchased a 8 inch memory foam mattress for the top and a 6 inch for the trundle. They both fit perfectly. I would not suggest anything taller for the trundle if you want to leave it made up.Nice product. Great customer service. I would buy another product from this manufacturer in a heartbeat. Having purchased other pre fab furniture in the past from some of the more popular vendors, I will say that the experience I had with this product was far and above those.

We wanted to replace a futon/couch with a day bed. Most of our furnishings are “Mission Style” and most of those are expensive, handmade pieces. So I wanted to find something made of solid wood (and some plywood) but no chipboard or MDF. This piece fills the bill. I would have given it 5 stars, but for one small problem. When I went to assemble the trundle bed, the three pieces that had wheels attached had mis-drilled holes where you attach them to the front piece and crosspiece. If I didn’t own an electric drill (and know how to use it) this would have meant a return/replacement. As it was, since they used Marine-grade plywood, drilling six extra holes was an easy enough fix. The slats, too, needed some new holes, but again, a combination of plywood and a drill made this an easy fix.

This wasn’t difficult to assemble! Having 2 people to assemble helped me and I wish I would have just waited for my husband to get home before I started! But once I had help this took about 15-20 minutes to assemble. I either misplaced the assembly directions for the trundle or they were not included but after a quick email to the companies email provided they sent over the assembly directions within the hour! The quality of this bed is great and we hope to have it for a long time! We have a 6 inch mattress on the bottom and there is plenty of clearance for it to fit under so you could have the bottom bed fully made and still be able to stow it away.

I was on an extensive search for a daybed for guest use. I settled on this one because of the design and also because the reviews were positive. The shipment came in 3 parts. The packaging was quite good with no damage. The assembly was easy which was probably my biggest worry. Now finished, I find it to be sturdy, has a nice soft white color, and will be just the ticket for years to come. Recommended!
