This was a Hail Mary, and we are so glad we bought it! The wife and I were having some aches and pains when waking up in the morning. Our mattress is only a year and an half old, and we really didn’t want to commit to such a big purchase right now. So we bought this mattress pad. When it arrived, I opened it I and let it expand for a few hours, it’s very plush and fits our bed perfectly (king size). Sleeping on it was just wonderful. I melted right into it, but not in a “this mattress is too soft and is gonna hurt my back kind of way” more like just the perfect amount of cushion under all the pressure points. We have woken up several days in a row with no body aches, and are only upset we didn’t but this thing sooner!

This mattress topper came nicely wrapped and vacuum sealed in a plastic bag, then folded and rolled to fit into a box. The topper came with a cutting tool to open the vacuum sealed bag, which made it easy to open without worry that you will slice the topper itself. Once the bag was opened, the topper started to expand and was fully expanded within 20 minutes. There was no bad or chemical odors coming from my topper. I put it on my bed, added a mattress protector over the top of it, then made my bed with sheets and duvet. I was able to get this easily onto my bed without help. The topper is firm, but not too firm, and provides enough support that I’m not sinking into it. The elastic straps on the corners help keep it in place on my mattress, and you can adjust the straps looser/tighter to fit your mattress thickness. Overall I am very happy with this topper. My hip joints are way less achy since I’ve been sleeping on this, and my husband has said he is less achy as well on this new topper. Even the 3 cats in my house enjoy sleeping on the bed. I got this in the Cal King size, and it fit my mattress perfectly.
