College dorm beds tend to not be that comfortable, so I bought this mattress topper for my daughter to use. She absolutely loves it, and told my son that he needs to get one when he goes to college. I was there when she opened it, and it didn’t have a bad smell or any issues with the shipping. This is a good purchase!

I bought this to put on top of a Vibe Gel Memory Foam Mattress, which was a bit too firm for me. The topper is soft but you don’t totally sink into it either, good for all sleeping positions ( in the combo I mentioned above), it’s neither warm nor cool. The mattress below was definitely cool ( I had to put on extra blankets) . The topper will not make you hot but it will not feel cool either ( pretty much whatever your body is , that’s what you get :):)It does slide down a little bit at a time, so by the time you change sheets you need to translate it back up.No smell when opened.Fits my king bed just fine.Now I just need some sheets with very deep pockets, cause this mattress combo sure is tall now…

This topper took a horrible mattress all the way up to OMIGOSH, I CAN SLEEP AGAIN! The back pain relief has been great but no more hip pain either , there was no smell, the durability & stability seem great. HOWEVER, it does sleep WARM! I am an older woman dealing with hot flashes & night sweats & was not prepared for how warm it would be so it took me some time to adjust. I would not change my purchase tho.

A good matteress pad is hard to buy because there is no way to know the softness or density until you unwrap it & it expands completely. I have hypermobility which causes my joints to dislocate easily. Without good cushioning sleep is painful. To be honest, the last two matteress pads were awful. I took a stab at this one, relying on reviews.With all that said- I would buy this again in a heartbeat! It’s soft enough to eliminate pressure point pain but dense enough to not flatten under body weight.I am always hot at night- no matter what. This pad does not make me any hotter than I normally am. I couldn’t sleep on it if it did.I am impressed with it’s low odor. Every single pad I have ever purchased stunk up my room & a few flaired my asthma. This had low odor & I had no problems breathing.I know it said to wait 48 hrs to completely expand but I was so exhausted from painful sleep that I didn’t wait. It came up to 3″ immediately, but I slept on it a few hours later without problems.

I had tremendous back problems since I fell down the stairs last year. Over time I realized that my bed was a little too hard for my back and I ordered this topper. While it does not pop up to 3 inches it is more than thick enough to provide a wonderful, cushiony pad on top of my mattress. My back’s been significantly better since I started sleeping on this. It does not get very hot like other memory foam toppers and worked well with the sheets I already had as it did not add that much extra thickness. It had a slight smell when I unrolled it however I did not smell it anymore after I added my mattress cover and the sheets back on. I’d recommend if you’re looking to add some softness to a firm bed.
