I bought a spring mattress that turned out to not be very comfortable and was noisy. I am a side sleeper, and flip over all night. I have tried a couple of other mattress toppers, but they were way to squishy and would fall apart. I was ready to buy a whole new mattress and start over, but the cost factor led me to try a topper one last time. I lucked out this time! It’s soft enough to be comfortable, but still firm enough I could turn over easily. The mattress came with a nice enclosed cover on it, not just bare foam like others. No oder. I’m very pleased with the value for the money!

My husband & I have replaced a similar sleep aid recently with this new 3” memory foam mattress topper.Essentially it’s as comfortable as previously experienced , yet one extremely annoying feature has had us thinking of returning this foam mattress topper…… its unpleasant smell!Yes, once the plastic wrapping was removed & the mattress left to reinflate from being compressed for mailing, a very strong, chemical odor filled our home! It was awful!My husband got online & began researching the formulation of memory foam being used in mattress toppers.Fortunately he found an article that specifically referenced a foam mattress topper similar to ours… that also had a horrific aroma!The people left their mattress in a fresh air location for several days, allowing the aroma attached to whatever was sprayed on the topper, to evaporate.We followed this suggestion and we can fortunately report that the intensity of this ‘stink’ has greatly minimized. We plan to repeat this airing procedure periodically in the hope of eliminating the residual smell, although it has significantly reduced.We find the addition of the topper a comfortable addition to our sleep needs!Hopefully several more airings will freshen up this annoying characteristic! Nowhere in the online info was there a reference made to this potential problem. It was simply awful!Margaret & George Long
