NOT 2 INCHES THICK, more like barely an inch thick. But you get what you pay for. Even though my first thought was to return it, I gave it one night to convince me to keep it.It does actually help in the comfort of my mattress. I can lie on my side without hip pain.

We purchased these for our recent move. I was able to cut them to line the boxes used to pack our breakables, and so far, I haven’t found anything broken. They worked great! I just measured the box, and cut to fit. I still had to bubble wrap, but, as long as things were packed tightly, nothing moved and broke. Less expensive than some packing materials.
